Singer

Humming

like a bird that sips on satin and silk,

the buzz behind its dips into the nectar

stops.

And I turn the world,

while it illuminates and flickers at my fingers.

He drops his feet

at my command

and sings the sewers hum

into the satin jacket’s hem.
