Resounding Haikus

Daylight thunderstorm,
shake me down and rinse me clean
with your voice alone.

I left windows cracked,
it was sunny this morning,
never thought ahead.

I need to roam free
like the earth needs rain to grow,
how inconvenient.

With your voice alone,
describe the mid day lightning.
Roll with the thunder.
