1–2 minutes

to read

come to pass

i hope you find yourself
struck in the memories as I did
like looking across a canyon
so far and now forever changed
by the earthquake, the fire, man made
not the conspiracy just, mistakes

i want to believe

in the past, tense, i hope you find
yourself caught in the swell
of excitement and the rush of creation and beauty
something so overwhelming
that the hate you carried to the cliffside
d i s s i p a t e s in the echoes
of silent crumbled ruin
